Job Description

As an  Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk,   part of your responsibilities will include :

Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Process customer payments and apply them to appropriate accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer communications.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports related to accounts receivable.
Accounts Payable
  • Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Enter invoices into QuickBooks Online and maintain detailed records.
  • Prepare and process vendor payments on time.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable roles.
  • Experience working for a US-based Client/Business is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and U.S. GAAP.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in a startup environment or small business setting.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
